What we keep, and what we don’t.

Prestige is an iPhone app for keeping a lifting record. You log a set — the weight, the reps, and how many you had left — and Prestige keeps the record and reads it back to you: your personal records, where your work has actually landed across your body, and a training signature drawn from your own history.

Everything you log lives on your device. There is no account to make, there are no servers of ours for it to sync to, and we never receive it — not the lifts, not the sets, not the weights, not a single number. We could not show you your own record if you asked us to, because we do not have it.

If you back your phone up, your record sits inside that backup along with everything else on the phone. That backup is yours and Apple’s, under Apple’s terms, not ours. Deleting Prestige deletes the record with it.

One thing: your email address, and only if you typed it into the form on this site to ask for early access. We use it to send you an invite and for nothing else. It is held by the email service we use to send that invite, acting on our instructions, and it is never sold, rented or traded.

We have not put an analytics or crash-reporting service inside Prestige. No Firebase, no Sentry, no Mixpanel, nothing of that kind. If you have turned on Apple’s Share with App Developers setting, we may see Apple’s own crash reports — aggregated, not tied to you, and useful only for fixing whatever crashed.

This page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address in order to serve them. Apart from that, and the form if you choose to use it, nothing here talks to anyone. There are no advertising scripts, no tracking pixels and no cookies.

Sharing a session or a record makes an image and hands it to whichever app you pick. That is your action, and what happens to it next is governed by the app you sent it to.

Your record. Delete a set, a session, or the whole thing from inside the app. Remove the app and it goes with it. You do not need to ask us, and there is nothing for us to delete at our end.

Your email address. Reply to any email from us, or write to the address below, and we will delete it. You are welcome to ask what we hold first — it will be one line.

Prestige is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of it. If a change is material, we will say so plainly rather than quietly.
